Grand Re-opening of South Gap Hotel, Barbados

Press Release from South Gap Hotel
The management and staff of South Gap Hotel are extremely excited to announce the grand re-opening of our newly renovated boutique hotel in St. Lawrence Gap, Barbados. After being closed for six months from April to September 2017, we are eager to welcome you to our beautiful ocean view property.During this phase we focused entirely on a full refurbishment of all of our 34 rooms. The newlyrenovated rooms are creating a high level of enthusiasm with the guests we have welcomed so far.
South Gap Hotel has enhanced all of its guest rooms with a trendy and modern style. These new rooms incorporate cool greys and whites accompanied by warm browns. The rooms are further accented with soft furnishings inspired by the varying shades of blues and greens that can be seen in the spectacular ocean view that is visible from each room. Our 23 Studios and 11 suites have received a complete makeover including new furnishings, bathrooms and kitchenettes (equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffeemaker). Each room also contains modern amenities including wireless high speed internet access, flat screen LED televisions and USB charging ports.
Our primary focus is the comfort of our guests and being able to meet their needs and we are confident that our renovated rooms and dedicated team will allow us to achieve this. South Gap Hotel is already known for providing an elevated level of service and we look forward to continuing to deliver this to our guests.
We have spent Bds$3.8 million in this phase and will spend another Bds$2 million in Phase 2 when we will complete the renovation of our public spaces. Adequate notice will be provided accordingly.
We would like to thank you for continued support and we look forward to introducing you to our new and improved guest rooms in the coming months.

Ragged Point Barbados: Fresh air and great views!

Did you know that there are no land masses between the western coast of Africa and the eastern coast of Barbados? Just imagine the fresh air that can be enjoyed at the easternmost point of Barbados - Ragged Point . Added to that is spectacular scenery of rugged cliffs and waves of the Atlantic Ocean pounding the shore. This is truly one of the loveliest and most tranquil spots in Barbados. A historic majestic lighthouse overlooks it all, the need for its warning to sailors now overshadowed by GPS and other technologies. Still it stands as a lovely reminder of the past. This is one of four lighthouses in Barbados, each special in its own way. If you are visiting Barbados be sure to make a stop at Ragged Point and enjoy the scenes and the lovely fresh air!
